The Battle of Jakku DLC sees the introduction of a new game mode for big maps: Turning Point. At least 1 Super Star Destroyer and 3 Star Destroyers are lost, including the Star Destroyer Inflictor, which is set on a deliberate collision course with the planet in order to stop a team of disillusioned Imperials from capturing the Star Destroyer for the New Republic.Ī myriad of Imperial ground troops have evacuated from a crash landed Star Destroyer, and engaged with New Republic forces on the surface in an epic battle. A show of force by the Galactic Empire soon turns into a rout, as New Republic forces attack the Imperial fleet from all directions with unexpected gusto. The Battle of Jakku is set just over one year after the Battle of Endor, between the forces of the New Republic and the Galactic Empire.
